Game notes:

• Baylor hits the road for its conference road opener on New Year’s Eve, facing Oklahoma State at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+ and the Baylor Sports Media Network.

• The Bears face the Cowgirls for the 66th time in program history after splitting matchups last season, once in the regular season and once in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship semifinals.

• Through games on Dec. 28, Kiersten Johnson (blocks), Darianna Littlepage-Buggs (double-doubles, rebounds, rebounds per game) and Taliah Scott (free throw percentage) each hold Big 12-best stats, while the team leads in blocks per game.

• Baylor is ranked 22nd in the AP Poll and 21st in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll after its 11-3 start to the season.

• Through games on Dec. 28, Baylor is ranked No. 34 in the NET.

• The Bears are 1-3 against Quadrant 1 opponents, with BU’s top win coming against Duke in Paris to open the season.

• Baylor suffered a Big 12-opening loss to Texas Tech, 61-60, at the Ferrell Center before the 10-day holiday break.

• The Bears led by as much as six as the fourth quarter began, but a seven-point run put the Lady Raiders in position.

• BU out-rebounded TTU 38-37, but Tech had the shooting advantage, with the Bears shooting 36.8% from the floor.

• Yuting Deng matched her career high with four 3-pointers, scored a season- and game-high 22 points and knocked down a go-ahead 3-pointer from the corner with under a minute left.

• Baylor went 8-0 at home in non-conference play, completing the third-straight and fourth overall undefeated home non-con schedule in the fifth year of the Nicki Collen era.

• BU holds a 27-game win streak in regular season non-league home games, last dropping a Nov. 20, 2022, contest against then-No.19 Maryland, 73-68, at the Ferrell Center.
