FORT WORTH, Texas – Baylor women’s basketball will take on former Big 12 rival Texas in a neutral-site non-conference matchup on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, ESPN Events announced Thursday as part of the inaugural Sprouts Farmers Market espnW Women’s Basketball Invitational. The game will be live on ABC with tipoff scheduled for noon CT.

The Sprouts Famers Market espnW Invitational reflects ESPN Events intentional investment in our Women’s Sports portfolio, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue serving Women’s Sports fans and the culture that defines them.”



The 112th meeting between the Longhorns and the Bears continues the streak of the I-35 rivals clashing in each of the last 50 years, last facing off on February 1, 2024, at Foster Pavilion. Since 1975, the two programs saw each other at least twice each season until 2024-25, Texas’ debut in the Southeastern Conference.
