PHOENIX – Former Bear Alexis Prince has signed a training camp contract with the Phoenix Mercury, returning to the organization after being drafted 29th overall in 2017, the team announced on Wednesday.



Playing one full season with the Mercury, Prince also had two games with the Atlanta Dream in 2018 under Nicki Collen and two games in 2020 for the Chicago Sky.



Prince averages 19.5 points and 8.5 rebounds with Elitzur Ramla in Israel, playing in 22 contests so far this season.



The Baylor graduate donned the green and gold from 2012 to 2017, averaging 8.1 points for her career, where she scored 1,106 points, including a senior season that saw her score 12.1 points per contest.



She earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors and was a member of the Big 12 All-Defensive Team as a senior. Prince took home five Big 12 championship rings in her collegiate career from 2013-17. Prince received a medical hardship for her 2013-14 season after playing four games before injury.



The Phoenix Mercury open the 2025 WNBA regular season on May 17 against the Seattle Storm.
