WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s basketball added another piece to its front court on Monday, announcing the signing of High Point University transfer Juslin Bodo Bodo.

Hailing from Yaounde, Cameroon, Bodo Bodo helped the Eagles to an NCAA tournament berth in 2025 and brings the experience of 71 starts over the last two seasons in High Point. Head coach Scott Drew is excited to add a player that possesses his skillset to the roster.

“We are excited to add a player of Juslin’s caliber to our roster,” he said. “Obviously, his size leaps off the page at you, but he knows how to use it to his advantage, leading the country in offensive rebounding percentage last year. He can impact the game in a variety of ways, and we are excited to add him to our roster.”

The 2025 Big South Defensive Player of the Year for the second-straight season, Bodo Bodo started all 35 games for an NCAA Tournament team. He pulled down a team-high 8.4 rebounds per game, which also ranked second-best in the conference and 47th-best in the country. One of the best offensive rebounders in the country, he helped the Eagles to 29 wins and a Big South regular-season and conference-tournament title. He went 4-for-5 from the field with six rebounds and two blocks against No. 4 seed Purdue in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
A Big South All-Freshman Team selection in 2023-24, he started all 36 games, averaging 1.8 blocks per game, which ranked as the second-most in the conference. In total, he registered 18 double-figure rebounding games and 11 games of 3+ blocks. A nine-time conference freshman of the week that season, he tied a Big South Tournament record, pulling down 19 boards against Radford. At season’s end, he earned a spot on the Kyle Macy Freshman All-America Team.
The fourth Baylor player in the last three seasons from Cameroon, Bodo Bodo played two seasons of high school ball at Southern California Academy, where he averaged 7.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game.
