Baylor Volleyball Media Availability

Baylor volleyball would like to invite you to media availability tomorrow, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m. CT in the media room at the Ferrell Center. Head coach Ryan McGuyre and select student-athletes will answer questions ahead of the fourth iteration of the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge with TCU, Minnesota and Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday. Full schedule for the weekend is below.

Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge:
9/6 – 4pm CT – TCU (home) vs Wisconsin (away)
9/6 – 7pm CT – Baylor (home) vs Minnesota (away)
9/7 – 4pm CT – TCU (home) vs Minnesota (away)
9/7 – 7pm CT – Baylor (home) vs Wisconsin (away)

NOTABLE:

  *   Ryan McGuyre secured his 200th Baylor win last night at Rice
  *   The Bears are on a four-match, four-sweep winning streak
  *   The Rice match was the only away non-conference matchup this season, a first for the program. It’s also the first time all non-conference matches have taken place in Texas for the program.
  *   Sophomore Kendal Murphy currently leads the team with 40 kills, Allie Sczech and Elise McGhee not far behind with 34 & 35, respectively.
  *   Sophomore Victoria Davis leads the team in blocks with 12 overall at 1.33 per set.
  *   Senior Lauren Briseño has 46 digs at 3.83 per set to lead her squad.
