WACO, Texas – Baylor women’s tennis stars Isabella Harvison and Miska Kadleckova have been named to the College Sports Communicators – formerly College Sports Information Directors Association – Academic All-District Team, it was announced.



The Baylor duo are now eligible for CSC Academic All-America honors, with voting currently underway with the CSC membership with a public announcement of the teams on June 4.



A native of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif., Harvison is a graduate student with a communications major, sporting a 3.5 cumulative GPA. She is a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete honoree, who has also earned Academic All-Big 12 Second-Team accolades and Southeastern Conference First-Year Academic Honor Roll honors in her career.



Harvison posted a 12-6 record during the spring for the Bears in singles, including a 5-1 mark in Big 12 play. She combined to earn nine doubles wins in the spring, including a 7-5 mark on court 3. Over her singles dual-match career at Baylor, Harvison totaled 41 wins. She played her final three years at Baylor after opening her career at Alabama. Harvison ascended to No. 59 in the ITA rankings early in her Baylor career and earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors in 2022. During the 2022-23 season, Harvison posted a 20-9 record, and went 17-8 in the spring, earning a ranking for nine consecutive weeks.



Kadleckova stepped right into the Baylor lineup and led the Bears to the NCAA Tournament in 2024. A senior health, kinesiology and leisure studies major, she earned a 3.73 cumulative GPA. A native of Baska Bystrica, Slovakia, Kadleckova starred for the Bears in 2024, going 17-4, including a 16-4 mark on court 1, and finished the year ranked No. 95 in singles by the ITA. Kadleckova combined to go 15-7 in doubles, including a 12-5 mark on court 2 and a 9-2 record in Big 12 play.



The Big 12 Women’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the year in 2023, she owns 116 career singles wins after opening her career at Iowa State. She broke ISU school records for singles wins in a season (29) and doubles wins in a season (30) in 2023. A two-time All-Big 12 Conference selection, Kadleckova has been named the Big 12 Academic Honor Roll six times, is a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and was named CSC Academic All-District in 2023.
