* Baylor defeated Louisiana Tech, 98-54, on Sunday afternoon in record-breaking fashion.
* Sarah Andrews upped her career 3-pointer total to 259, a figure that sets the program record for 3-pointers made. Odyssey Sims (2010-14) sunk 258 in her career, including 63 in the 2011-12 national championship season.
* Andrews had six rebounds with four assists and a steal.
* The Bears are now one game behind the Lady Techsters all-time, rising to 4-3.
* Baylor is 2-0 against LA Tech at home.
* BU was 51.3 from the floor, the fifth time this season over 50%. Baylor is 273-2 when shooting over 50%.

* Jada Walker scored 14 points, her best since Indiana, and paired it with 10 assists for just the second double-double of her career (21 pts, 10 assists vs. Coastal Carolina on 11/13/22).
* Walker’s double-double was the first from points/assists for a Baylor individual since Andrew’s 11-point, 10-assist performance vs. UCF on January 20, 2024.
* Walker also put up four rebounds, five steals, a block and was 5-of-5 from the floor while sinking her first 3-pointer after a three-game skid without a triple.
* Darianna Littlepage-Buggs scored 13, including five from the charity stripe, with 12 rebounds for her second-straight double-double and the fifth of her junior season.
* Junior Bella Fontleroy totaled the first double-double of her 2024-25 campaign behind 10 points and 10 rebounds. She also led the team in blocks for the fifth time this season with two.
* It was the first time since February 18, 2023’s game against No. 22 Iowa State that three Bears ended the day with double-doubles (Caitlin Bickle (13p/12r), Littlepage-Buggs (19p/12r) and Fontleroy (19p/11r))
* Yaya Felder continues a strong season, coming off the bench with nine points and four assists.
* Madison Bartley had her best output of the season with seven points, her third-highest scoring performance while at BU.
* Kyla Abraham scored six with three rebounds and two blocks, tying her career high for the sixth time.
* Kayla Nelms hit the floor for eight minutes, totaling four points and four rebounds.
* Newcomer Waiata Jennings played for just shy of five minutes with one fastbreak layup off a steal.
* Baylor started Jada Walker, Sarah Andrews, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs, Aaronette Vonleh and Bella Fontleroy for the ninth time this season in as many games.
* Walker is 33-10, Andrews is 78-31, Littlepage-Buggs is 45-17, Fontleroy is 28-12 and Vonleh is 7-2 as starters at Baylor.
* Baylor returns to Foster Pavilion to face Texas Southern at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
