WACO, Texas – Baylor acrobatics & tumbling earned the No. 1 seed for the 2024 NCATA Championship that will be held at Joe Retton Arena in the Feaster Center on the campus of Fairmont State from April 25-28, the organization announced Monday.



The reigning champion Bears will face eighth-seeded host Fairmont State on Thursday in the Quarterfinals to start the campaign for their ninth-straight title. This is the second season in a row where BU will face the Falcons in the first round. Baylor has an overall record of 4-1 against Fairmont in the championships.



The eight-team, single-elimination tournament will begin on Thursday with four quarterfinal matchups. The semifinals are set for Friday evening, while the National Championship meet will be contested on Saturday evening. National individual event finals are scheduled for Sunday morning at 10 a.m. CT.



BU won its first national title as a program in 2015 at Fairmont State, defeating Oregon for the trophy with Felecia Mulkey in her first year in Waco.

All seating is general admission. All-session passes covering all four days of the championship are also available, priced at $38. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate on a cash-only basis.
