The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) today unveiled its final set of championship rankings following another week of competition around the country. The 2024 NCATA Tournament bracket will be announced on Monday, April 15.

This year’s national championship will be hosted by Fairmont State at Joe Retton Arena and the Feaster Center. The eight-team, single-elimination tournament will begin on Thursday, April 25 with four quarterfinal matchups. The semifinals are set for Friday evening, while the National Championship meet will be contested on Saturday evening. National event finals are scheduled for Sunday morning. The complete bracket and additional event information will be announced in mid-April.

This week’s rankings saw no changes from last Wednesday’s release. The eight-time defending national champion Baylor Bears remain atop the rankings with an 8-0 record this season. Quinnipiac, ranked No. 2 for the third-straight week, is also unbeaten at 6-0 on the season. Gannon checks-in at No. 3 with a 6-2 record, while Oregon (3-3) occupies the No. 4 spot. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (7-1) rounded out the top five.

Azusa Pacific, 4-2 this season, begins the bottom half of this week’s ranking at No. 6, while Fairmont State (6-1) and Frostburg State (5-2) occupied the No. 7 and No. 8 spots, respectively. Limestone (10-0) is ninth, followed by Augustana (6-2) at No. 10 to round out this week’s ranking.

The NCATA championships committee considers the overall performance of teams throughout the season thus far and utilized the following criteria to consider team rankings: W/L record, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition, common opponents, average meet score (adjusted to remove high/low), average meet start value (adjusted to remove high/low), score differential (adjusted to remove high/low) and the teams’ progression throughout the season.

The 2024 championship field and at-large qualifiers for event finals will be released on Monday, April 15.
