No. 7 Baylor Equestrian Returns Home for Matchup against No. 2 Auburn

WACO, Texas – No. 7 Baylor equestrian (0-1) opens its home slate against No. 2 Auburn (1-0) this Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.

BU is still in search of its first win of the season after dropping its season opener 16-3 to No. 4 Texas A&M.

The Bears are looking to capitalize on a strong Western showing last week. Elsie Naruszewicz (Horsemanship) picked up her first Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) nod of the season with a 75. Five first-time starters in Reining managed to tie the event.

Baylor holds a 21-9 record at home during the Maxwell era.

Auburn leads the all-time series over BU, 13-3, with the Bears looking for their first win against the Tigers since 2021. Live scoring will be available for the meet and can be found here.

Following this week’s home meet, the Bears will open Big 12 play against No. 5 Oklahoma State (0-0) on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
