THE RUNDOWN

FELTON, Del. – No. 8 Baylor equestrian (1-6) fell to No. 10 UT Martin (2-6), 7-7 (1159-1106), in a raw-score tiebreaker Saturday afternoon at the Dovington Training Center.



Lauren Reid (80) scratched the first point on the board in Fences.



Over in the Western arena, BU claimed its first Horsemanship win of the season, 3-2. Elsie Naruszewicz (73.5), Alexis Rutledge (73.5) and Nadalee Vasquez (75.5) added to the tally. Vasquez earned her first Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) honors of the season. Vasquez’s ride aboard Carley matched a season high.



Baylor Reining managed to tie the event, 2-2. Riley Cachat (71) and Kalena Reynolds (69) collected points for the Bears.



Behind tied points from Lauren Reid (73) and Dominika Silvestri (74), BU tied Flat 1-1. Lauren Jorgensen (79) scored the sole Flat point for the Bears. Jorgensen’s ride aboard Cici collected her first MOP nod of the season.

  *   Baylor moves to 9-1 against UT Martin all-time.
  *   BU Horsemanship collected its first event win of the season.
  *   Lauren Jorgensen (Flat) earned her first MOP honors of the season.
  *   Jorgensen improved to 5-1 in Flat.

  *   Vasquez collected her first point of the season.
  *   Vasquez matched a season-high 75.5.
