WACO, Texas – Felecia Mulkey of the eight-time national champion Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team has signed 14 to the 2024-25 signing class, announced Wednesday.


“This class is well-rounded, which will add to the depth of our roster for the next four years,” said Mulkey. “These new Bears hail from different parts of the country as well as varied sport backgrounds.”



The signing class includes young women from various skill sets, including competitive cheerleading, high school cheerleading, acrobatic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, high school stunt, trampoline and tumbling, CrossFit and track and field.



Quotes from Mulkey on the A&T signees are below.

“Hannah Davis and Makayla Vasquez will come in as specialists at the top position. Both come from an Acrobatic Gymnastics background and will bring hand-balance skills that our fans are accustomed to watching on meet day. Hannah has competed Acrobatic Gymnastics internationally and is a former teammate of Leavy McDonald and Jordan Gruendler.”

“Camryn Milliken, Madden Werner and Ashlyn Tannehill will bring big tumbling skills with beautiful lines that will score well in our sport.”

“Alyssa Brown and Sienna Jibben are strong bases and Lexie Lannon is a skilled top with hand to foot skills.  All three will also be able to contribute to our tumbling scores.”

“Tennyson Leiby has an artistic gymnastics background and has great potential as a base. We think you will see her in both positions.”

“Baylee Garnto and Ava Floro are base specialists. They will both train and contribute in several heats in this position. Baylee not only trains in Acrobatic Gymnastics but competes in CrossFit. Both athletes bring a level of strength in with them that we will be able to build on over their four years as Bears.”

“Kailey Yantis-Blank, Dannan Roy and Sarah Kerr are all-around athletes. All three bring multiple high-scoring tumbling passes and will be able to add to our depth in the tumbling event. Kailey and Dannan are experienced tops with hand-to-foot connections.  Sarah’s tumbling technique is impeccable, she will definitely be able to contribute as a tumbler, but we feel that she will also have the ability to compete as a top, base or mid-level throughout her time here.”

“Each of these athletes are amazingly talented on their own. I believe the combination of all of them makes this the best signing class in the country. It is a bold statement, but I stand by it.”
