·         Ja’Kobe Walter set a program record for the most points by a freshman in his debut with 28.

·         Walter’s 28 points are the fourth-most by a freshman in a debut in Big 12 History.

·         Walter’s 28 points are the most by a freshman since Keyonte George had 32 at West Virginia 1/11/23.

·         Walter went 10-for-10 from the free throw line, making him the ninth different player in program history to shoot 1.000 percent from the line [minimum 10 attempts]

·         Walter’s performance was the best performance from the free-throw line since Jonathan Motley went 11-for-11 against West Virginia on 2/27/17.
