Baylor VB Announces Non-Conference Slate
Bears to play four matches at home in Ferrell

WACO, Texas – Baylor volleyball has finalized its non-conference schedule, featuring four matches at home.



The Bears will play a total of 10 non-conference matches, six of them on the road, with an additional intrasquad Green vs. Gold match on Aug. 16 at home and an exhibition in College Station, Texas, against Texas A&M on Aug. 19.



The first home match for BU will be against Rice on Sept. 1, followed by a three-match homestand against Washington State (9/13), Ohio State (9/15) and Stephen F. Austin (9/19).



The Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge will take place in Minneapolis, Minn., against Wisconsin and Minnesota on August 25 and 26. Baylor will make the quick trip to Dallas for a match with SMU on Sept. 6. BU will also play in Fort Collins, Colo., for Colorado State’s Ram Volleyball Classic featuring the Rams, Bowling Green, and Pacific from Sept. 8-10.



The announcement rounds out the Bears’ 2023 schedule, accompanying the 18 Big 12 Conference matches. Overall, BU will play 13 matches in the Ferrell Center in front of the Baylor Family.
