Baylor MGOLF Hosts the Bear Brawl at Ridgewood Country Club
Will mark BU’s first event in Waco since 2005

WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s golf will host Abilene Christian, Texas State and UTSA in a four-team match-play event Monday morning at Ridgewood Country Club.
It is the first team event in Waco since the Baylor invitational in 2005. The four teams were seeded based on their Golfstat ranking<http://www.golfstat.com/index.cfm?event=public.teamRanking&gender=M> and will each play two matches. No. 1 seeded Baylor will open against No. 4 seed Abilene Christian, while No. 2 seed UTSA will play No. 3 seed Texas State. The winner of each match will face off in the championship match, while the losing teams will play a third-place match.
Luke Dossey will be first off for the Bears in match No. 1 at 8:00 a.m. against ACU's Alex Clouse. Dossey will make his first start of the spring semester. His last appearance was at the Big 12 Match Play Championship, where he went 2-3.
Brandon Hoff will also be making his first appearance since the Big 12 Match Play when he tees off at 8:10 a.m. against Francisco Osio. Hoff has played 14 matches in his career with a record of 5-8-1.
Mark Reppe will also play his 15th career match at 8:20 a.m. against ACU's Zane Heusel. Reppe went 1-3-1 in his five matches at the Big 12 Match Play Championship last fall.
Tyler Isenhart will tee off in match No. 4 at 8:30 a.m. against ACU’s Jake Bay. Isenhart is playing his first match-play match since the 2019 Big 12 Match Play Championship.
Johnny Keefer will play in the anchor position at 8:40 a.m. against Brian Choe. Keefer has 10 match play wins in 15 career matches, including a 3-1-1 mark at the Big 12 Match Play Championship this past October.
The afternoon matches will begin at 12:30 p.m. going off the No. 1 and No. 10 tees.
