HUMBLE, Texas– Baylor men’s golf shot a 27-over 603 in 36 holes on Monday at the Golf Club of Houston to sit in 11th place with 18 holes to play at the All-American Intercollegiate.

Tied for fifth place with Louisiana Tech after the first round, The began round two 11-shots back of the leader Houston. But, a second-round score of 16-over dropped them into 11th by day's end.

In his first round since a record-setting 63 at the Cabo Collegiate, Johnny Keefer shot a 2-over 74. The junior from San Antonio was under par through 12 holes, but three-straight bogeys dropped him back to 2-over par before three-straight pars to close out the round. Beginning his second round on the par-5 fourth hole, Keefer bogeyed two of his first three holes before back-to-back birdies at Nos. 7 and 8. After two more bogeys at Nos. 10 and 11, Keefer once again bounced back with consecutive birdies at Nos 12 and 13, followed by eight more pars to finish the second round at even par and 2-over for the tournament in a tie for 14th.

Tyler Isenhart is playing in his third event as an individual and is in a tie for 43rd after the first two rounds. The junior struggled in his opening round with an 11-over 83. He started with three-straight pars in round two and would not make another par until eight holes later at the par-4 18th. In that stretch, Isenhart had four birdies, one bogey, and two double bogeys to sit at 1-over par with eight holes to play. He played those eight holes at even par and finished as the fifth-best individual through two rounds.

Senior Mark Reppe finished tied for 56th after round two on Monday after a 10-over 154. Reppe’s first round started strong with birdies at Nos. 7 and 17 that saw him dip into red figures after 14 holes. But four-straight bogeys dropped him to a 3-over 75 after round one. The Dallas native started his second round with a triple-bogey eight, before he got one back with a birdie at the par-3 7th. However, a double-bogey at No. 11 and bogeys at Nos. 16, 18 and 3 dropped Reppe into a tie for 56th.

Trey Bosco had a nice bounce-back in round two, shooting an even-par 72 to climb into a tie for 67th. Following an opening-round 83, where he was 7-over after four holes, the sophomore started the second round with a trio of steady pars before a bogey at the par-4 6th. The Austin native birdied two of the following three holes to get into red figures. A double-bogey at the par-4 11th was the final blemish on Bosco’s card en route to his 72.

Zach Heffernan opened round one at 3-over through four holes, but after a bogey at No. 10, the freshman played his final nine holes at even-par to finish in a tie for 34th after round one. Heffernan played the first 10 holes of his second round at 9-over par before playing his final eight holes at even par to finish the second round in a tie for 72nd.

Luke Morgan shot a solid opening round with a 2-over 74 that saw him bounce back on multiple occasions, balancing two bogeys with two birdies for an even-par opening nine. After falling to 3-over through 14 holes, Morgan played his final four holes at one-under-par to finish round one in a tie for 19th. In the second round, Morgan started 15-over through his first 10 holes but played his next eight holes at 2-under par. His 13-over 85 dropped him into a tie for 82nd with 18 holes to play.

Florida State leads the tournament on the strength of a 15-under 273 in the second round. FSU’s Frederik Kjettrup and Sam Houston's Bret Gray lead the individuals at 3-under par with 18 holes to play.
