Baylor WGOLF Boasts Three All-American Scholars

WACO, Texas – Baylor women's golf placed three players on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, announced Tuesday by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.

Rosie Belsham, Hannah Karg and Britta Snyder were recognized for a second-straight season, extending Baylor's streak to nine-consecutive years with multiple honorees.

All told, 24 different Baylor players have now earned 53 total WGCA All-American Scholar honors, with at least one player honored in each of the last 22 seasons. The Bears have earned 27 honors in the last nine seasons after earning 26 awards in the 13 preceding years.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

BU is coming off a season where the Bears advanced to the NCAA Championship for the seventh time in program history, earning an 18th-place finish. Head coach Jay Goble expects to return four players with NCAA Championship experience. Snyder, Belsham, Karg and BaiMai Seema played in the NCAA Championship last May. They will also be joined by East Tennessee State transfer Sera Hasegawa and talented freshman Silje Ohma.
