SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Baylor men’s tennis duo Sven Lah and Finn Bass advance to the quarterfinals at the ITA National Fall Championships in doubles after day two of play.

The Bears faced Jakob Schnaitter and Siddhant Banthia at the Barnes Tennis Center, and came away with a win over the Wake Forest pair, 6-2, 6-2.

The BU duo is now 7-1 through this point in the fall season.

Lah and Bass are slated to face Ohio State’s Matej Vocel and Robert Cash in the quarterfinals. The Bears will face the No. 1 seeded Buckeyes at 12 p.m. CT on Saturday.

In singles play, Lah went up against Stanford’s Arthur Fery, the No. 2 seed. The BU senior held his own, taking Fery to three sets, but ultimately falling 7-5, 4-6, 6-3. Lah is now 6-2 this fall, having faced multiple top-seeded opponents and taking down two of them at the ITA Texas Regionals.
