TOURNAMENT NOTES

• Baylor improved to 53-15 (.779) all-time in the NCAA Tournament, all coming under head coach Kim Mulkey.

• Baylor is 10-5 all-time in the NCAA Sweet 16.

• NaLyssa Smith tied an NCAA Tournament Regional record for most makes without a miss with her 11-for-11 performance.

• Mulkey has guided the Lady Bears to 19 NCAA Tournament appearances and 17-straight.

• Seventeen straight NCAA Tournament appearances ranks 12th all-time and is the fifth-longest active streak.

• Baylor is a No. 2 seed, and it marks the 10th-straight year that Baylor is at least a two seed or higher.

• Baylor improved to 632-103 (.860) under head coach Kim Mulkey.

• Baylor improved to 2-0 vs. Michigan all-time.

• Baylor’s overall win streak reached 20 games.

• Baylor is 368-27 (.932) since the 2010-11 season.

• Baylor has out-rebounded its opponents in 160 of the last 170 games.

• In 721 of 735 games under Mulkey, the Lady Bears have held their opponent at or below 50 percent field goal shooting with only eight of those efforts coming in the last 15 seasons.

• Smith’s performance was behind only LaNita Luckey’s 12-for-12 day on Dec. 1, 1991 vs. UC Santa Barbara.

• Smith’s outing was her 66th career game in double figures scoring.

• Moon Ursin’s 20 points marked her fifth-straight game in double figures.

• DiJonai Carrington racked up double-digit points for the ninth-straight game and fourth-straight NCAA game with 19.
