WACO, Texas – Baylor is in pursuit of its fourth NCAA title and while it takes athletic talent and skill, the Lady Bears are getting it done in the classroom as well. The Big 12 Conference announced its All-Academic team Thursday with Baylor putting a school-record five players on the first team and one on the second.

Queen Egbo, Jordyn Oliver, Trinity Oliver, Moon Ursin and Caitlin Bickle all earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors while DiDi Richards was a member of the second team.

Ursin is a 3-time first-team selection, Bickle earned her second first-team honor while Trinity Oliver and Queen Egbo had previously been awarded second-team selections in their career. Richards was a second-team selection for the second-straight year.

First team members must have a 3.20 GPA or better while second-team award winners maintain a GPA between 3.0 and 3.19. All honorees must have participated in 20 percent of their athletic contests and have spent at least two semesters at their institution prior to the current season.
