No. 12 Baylor WT Looks for 2nd-Straight Big 12 Win at Home vs. West Virginia

WACO, Texas – The No. 12-ranked Baylor women’s tennis team continues Big 12 play Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center vs. West Virginia at 11:30 a.m. Baylor (13-2, 1-0) hosts the Mountaineers (3-1, 0-1) in the second league contest of the season for each team.



Baylor is 8-0 all-time vs. West Virginia with the series beginning in 2013. West Virginia started the season 3-0 before falling Friday to No. 2 Texas in Austin, 7-0. The Mountaineers had previous victories over Cleveland State, Youngstown State and Virginia Commonwealth.



The Bears are coming off 7-0 win in their Big 12 opener vs. Iowa State Friday. Livia Kraus leads the Big 12 in singles wins with 12 and remains undefeated on the season. If senior Jessica Hinojosa is in the lineup and wins her singles match Sunday, it will be her 80th-career victory as a Bear.



Admission Sunday is free but limited to 25 percent capacity.
