NEW ORLEANS – The Baylor men’s and women’s track and field teams, along with seven individuals, earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

As a team, Baylor was recognized on both sides, while four men and three women were honored individually for their combined work in the classroom and in competitions.

For the men, senior Ryan Croson, junior Jalen Seals and sophomores Riley Richards and Reese Sarnowski received the All-Academic individual title.

On the women’s side, juniors Tuesdi Tidwell and Sydney Washington, along with freshman Mackenzie Hayward, each earned the accolade.

As a team, the women were one of 264 different programs to receive recognition, sporting a 3.70 overall team GPA. The men recorded a 3.48 combined mark, becoming one of 199 teams honored with All-Academic status.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, a student-athlete must have compiled a grade point average of at least 3.25 and have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or in the top 48 in a relay event on the official NCAA order list provided by TFRRS.org.
