MISCELLANEOUS NOTES

  *   Baylor has won 23-straight games, a new program high. It is the nation’s second-longest active streak behind San Diego State (26).
  *   It is the first 23-game winning streak by any team in the Big 12’s 24-year history.
  *   Baylor is off to the best 25-game start in program history.
  *   Baylor is 9-0 in road games, the second-longest road winning streak in program history – 12 in 1945-46.
  *   Baylor has the nation’s third-longest road winning streak at nine games (Gonzaga 17, SDSU 10).
  *   Baylor’s 13-0 start to Big 12 play ties the second-longest conference-only winning streak in Big 12 history
  *   For the third time, and first time since 2010, a team has started Big 12 play 13-0.
  *   Baylor’s 13 conference wins are the most in program history.
  *   Baylor is 27-7 all-time when playing as an AP Top-5 team.
  *   Baylor is 10-1 when playing as the nation’s top-ranked team.

TEAM NOTES

  *   After Oklahoma cut the BU lead to one with 12:42 to play, Baylor went on a 13-2 run. The Sooners never got closer than seven points the rest of the way.
  *   Baylor’s defense held Oklahoma without a field goal the last 4:30 of the game.
  *   Baylor held Oklahoma to 23.8 percent shooting from the 3-point line, OU’s lowest percentage since shooting 19 percent from deep against Kansas State on Jan. 29.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

  *   Jared Butler made his 44th consecutive start for the Bears.
  *   Butler led the Bears in scoring for the 14th time this season with 22 points. It marked his seventh time this season, and ninth time in his career, that he’s recorded 20+ points in a game. He’s hit the 20+ mark in back-to-back games after finishing with 21 against West Virginia.
  *   Butler has hit at least five 3-pointers in four games this season. With five against Oklahoma, he’s hit that milestone in back-to-back contests.
  *   Butler’s 19 field goal attempts are the most by a Baylor player this season. His 12 3-point attempts tie the most this year.
  *   Tristan Clark finished with eight points, his highest total since putting up eight vs. TCU on Feb. 1.
  *   Freddie Gillespie pulled down 10 rebounds, the 13th time this season, and 14th time in his career, that he’s recorded double-digit rebounds.
  *   Gillespie finished with three blocks, marking the ninth time this season he’s recorded three or more rejections in a game.
  *   Davion Mitchell was one shy of his career high with three steals.
  *   Mark Vital played in his 84th consecutive game.
  *   Vital finished with 10 points, the sixth time this season and 25th time in his career that he’s recorded double figure points.
  *   In his second consecutive start, Devonte Bandoo finished with seven points and six rebounds as he tied his career high with 37 minutes played.
