TOP QUOTE

“It’s great to see some fresh faces in the lineup do well and have some success over the last couple of days,” head coach Jay Goble said. “Amelia McKee didn’t count her score the last two days, and today she shot 2-under 69, which for a freshman in her first time in the lineup and all the pressure that comes with that, she handled that really well today. I’m really proud of her. I think overall what makes me the most excited is that we’re fighting back and we’re dealing with adversity really well. We were about 5-over with a couple holes to go, and everybody made birdies coming in to get us back to even-par, so we did a great job finishing strong. We have a really great team this year, everybody can play and can contribute, and it’s fun to see all of them have good rounds.”
