<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The time is almost here! Our first games at the Foster Pavilion are Jan. 2 and 3 for men’s and women’s basketball, respectively. As you can imagine, the demand for Men’s Basketball tickets in Foster Pavilion is extremely high. However,
we are excited to offer a special allotment of tickets exclusive for our athletics employees to be requested on a per-game basis. Due to the limited quantity, not all requests will be able to be fulfilled. To fully serve everyone and maintain the integrity
of the process, we have outlined some guidelines to this ticket request process.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Please note, this limited allotment is different than the familiar Faculty/Staff claim process at the Will Call window at the Ferrell Center. Athletics staff members whose requests are unable to be fulfilled or did not request tickets
prior to the deadline will have the opportunity to claim tickets the day of the game in the general Faculty/Staff line dependent on availability.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>How can you request tickets?</b> Athletics staff members can request complimentary tickets through a Qualtrics form sent out monthly.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>When is the deadline to request tickets?</b> The deadline to request tickets is
<b><u>one week</u></b> prior to the day of the game you wish to attend. Late requests will
<b><u>not</u></b> be accepted. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>How many tickets can you request?</b> See the Baylor Faculty/Staff policy below. Complimentary tickets will only be available for staff, their spouse and dependent children. All members must be present at time of ticket pick up. Single
staff may request complimentary tickets for themselves and their dependents or one guest. Please note that we expect all men’s basketball games at the Pavilion to be sold out thus a taxable benefit based on the number of tickets requested</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>How will tickets be assigned since demand will most likely exceed available tickets?
</b>Tickets will be assigned based on a lottery system. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>How and when will you be notified if you are selected to receive tickets?</b> You will be notified via email 72 hours prior to the requested game if your request has been fulfilled.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>How can you pick up assigned tickets?</b> Tickets will be available at the Will Call window at Foster Pavilion starting 90 minutes prior to tip-off. All ticketed members must be present at time of ticket pick up.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Will you be taxed on the tickets<span style="color:black">?</span></b><span style="color:black">
</span><span style="color:black">See the full Baylor Faculty/Staff policy below. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has determined complimentary single game tickets will be treated as taxable income in sellout situations. We anticipate every men’s basketball
game to be sold out for the entirety of the 2023-24 season in Foster Pavilion. Employees will be assessed a taxable benefit equal to the value of the seat in these situations. The taxable value will vary depending on the ticket price and employee’s individual
tax bracket. Complimentary tickets are subject to the same withholding rules as regular compensation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Complimentary tickets received cannot be sold or bartered for goods and services. Complimentary tickets received cannot be given to prospective or current student-athletes. Violations of the policy could result
in the loss of complimentary ticket privileges as well as possible termination of employment for misconduct. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>What happen if you miss the deadline to request or you were not selected to receive tickets?</b> Athletics staff members whose requests are unable to be fulfilled or did not request tickets prior to the deadline will have the opportunity
to claim tickets the day of the game in the general Faculty/Staff line dependent on availability.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>What happens if I request tickets and do not pick them up?</b> Due to limited quantity and high demand, if you do not pick up assigned tickets, you will not be able to request tickets for the remainder of year. Unclaimed tickets will
still be assigned to you as a taxable benefit.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>How can I request Women’s Basketball tickets?</b> The Women’s Basketball ticket claim process will remain the same as the current policy in the Ferrell Center. Staff members can pick up tickets with a valid Baylor ID card starting 90
minutes prior to the game. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As an athletics staff member, the following policy regarding Faculty/Staff tickets still applies:</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><i>Baylor University Faculty/Staff Individual Game Tickets Policy:<o:p></o:p></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><o:p> </o:p></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i>For Baylor intercollegiate athletic events where individual game tickets are sold and seats are available, faculty and staff who present a valid Baylor ID card and swipe-in at the Faculty/Staff entrance within 60 minutes of game time
may receive complimentary tickets. <b>The Baylor Faculty/Staff member must be present to swipe-in to receive the tickets.<o:p></o:p></b></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i><o:p> </o:p></i></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><i>Complimentary tickets will only be available for faculty, staff, their spouse and dependent children. All members must be present at time of ticket pick up. Single faculty and staff may request complimentary tickets for themselves and
their dependents or one guest. A taxable benefit for complimentary tickets may be assessed in sellout situations. Complimentary tickets are provided for regular season games only (no Big 12 or NCAA Championship events).<o:p></o:p></i></p>
