Organizational Updates

Athletics Staff -

At our all-staff meeting, Doug talked about modeling intentional, deliberate change as he begins. On that note and in the interest of providing information as quickly as possible, we're prepared to share some items from the first part of that change wave as they are being implemented immediately.

The group formerly referred to as Cabinet, and now as Executive Team, will all directly report to Doug. Their respective oversight responsibilities are as follows;  please note, changes are italicized.

  *   Jovan Overshown: Brand Engagement (Marketing & Fan Engagement, Creative, Communications, MMR & Licensing Operations, Special Events)
  *   Cody Hall:  Finance & Operations (Finance/Business Operations, Facilities & Event Management, Capital Projects, Equipment Services, Revenue Share/GMs, Governance & Regulatory Affairs)
  *   Kenny Boyd: Student-Athlete Services (Health & Wellness; Academic Services, Life Formation (Character Form. and Spiritual Form.))
  *   Callie Schrank: Administration (Athletics Director Office, SPAs, HR Liaison - everything outside of personnel budgeting approvals/employment contracts which remains with Cody)

Additionally, we are currently in the process of hiring a senior level position focused on revenue generation that will report directly to Doug and be in the above-listed group. We will communicate when that hire is made and any further important details that may accompany it.

SPA current assignments are remaining status quo (with the exception of Callie adding softball to her existing portfolio) for now. However, there will likely be some adjustments to assignments in the coming months.

Lastly, for those who haven't met her yet, Doug's executive assistant is Kendal Moore (C: 254.461.0538; E: Kendal_Moore at baylor.edu<mailto:Kendal_Moore at baylor.edu>). Please contacted her directly for any Doug related needs.
