Our records indicate that you have not yet completed your required annual cybersecurity training in Ignite. To fulfill Baylor’s obligation as part of our cybersecurity insurance agreement, all faculty and staff must complete annual cybersecurity training. We are asking that everyone complete their training by Friday, October 24, 2025.

To complete your training, do the following:


  1.  Log in to Ignite and click the Learning tile.
  2.  Select the 2025-26 Baylor Cybersecurity Essentials from among the options that appear. Make sure you select the training for the proper year.
  3.  The SANS Institute training module will present you with the opportunity to complete an initial quiz. This quiz provides you with a way to review your knowledge of cyber-related items, and your performance on this quiz can exempt you from several of the training modules.
  4.  Once you complete the quiz, the interface will display the remaining training modules that need to be completed. Click each incomplete training module and view the content. Each module takes about 5 minutes to complete.
  5.  See the image below. Once all of the training modules indicate that they are completed, click the “Save and Close” button in the upper right-hand corner of the Ignite interface. Note: If you do not click this button after all of the modules are completed, your cybersecurity training will not properly register in Ignite as completed.

If you do not complete the training by the end of Friday, October 24, you will lose access to the Baylor network. Demonstrating 100% training compliance to our cybersecurity insurance company helps to keep our premiums as low as possible.
