Reminders: 24-25 Staff Performance Evaluations

Athletics Staff –

The 2024-25 Staff Performance Review Process is open in Ignite (www.baylor.edu/ignite<http://www.baylor.edu/ignite>), effective March 3.  Employee self-assessments are due this week, March 19. Manager assessments are due no later than April 11, and all discussions and sign-offs must be completed by April 28.

The 2024-25 Staff Performance Review Process is reviewing work performed between March 1, 2024 – March 1, 2025. The performance review steps and associated due dates are below.
1st Step:  March 3-19
2nd Step:  March 20-April 11
3rd Step:  April 12-April 28
May 5
Employee Completes Self-Evaluation
Manager Completes Evaluation “Rating Assigned”
Employee and Manager Discuss Reviews and Sign Off in Ignite
2025 Goals Open in Ignite

Key Points:
·        Housed in Ignite under the “Career and Performance” tile.
·        Does not apply to contracted staff associated with a sport program. If you are a contracted staff member, you can ignore this email.
·        No second level manager review – please work with your supervisor if he/she would like to review evaluations for your direct report(s) prior to submission.
·        Do not procrastinate. Please allow yourself and supervisor adequate time to complete.
·        Be thoughtful about this process. Write at least a few sentences (or more) for each appraisal category.
·        Seek feedback and deliver feedback with an open-mind, open-heart, and mindset fixed on growth and development.
·        Supervisors – please check your Ignite direct reports to ensure all your employees are listed accurately. Contact me directly if any changes need to be made.
