Athletics Staff,

We hope you all had a great Easter weekend with what was a full schedule of events for our athletics teams and staff supporting them.

We want to take an opportunity to join the Baylor Equity, Civil Rights and Title IX Office on campus for Denim Day, on Wednesday, April 30.  Denim Day is a national awareness campaign, encouraging participants to wear denim on the last Wednesday of April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Denim Day was established in 1999 in response to a judge's ruling that a survivor could not have been assaulted since she was wearing tight jeans. The day of action and awareness was set aside in support of survivors to shift misconceptions surrounding sexual assault and educate others about need to eliminate victim blaming.
