Dear Athletics Staff,

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to a special lunch and learn session featuring a presentation by Dr. Michael Scullin (Michael Scullin Bio<https://psychologyneuroscience.artsandsciences.baylor.edu/person/michael-k-scullin-phd>).  Dr. Scullin is the Principle Investigator and lead for the Baylor Sleep Neuroscience & Cognition Laboratory (Baylor Sleep Lab<https://sites.baylor.edu/scullin/and>).  He is considered to be leading expert in the research surrounding sleep health.

**Event Details:**
Date: Tuesday, November, 28th (11/28)
Time: Lunch will be available at 11:30, with the presentation starting at 11:45; presentation will conclude around 12:30 pm
Location: Letterman's Lounge (McLane Stadium)

**Presentation Synopsis:**
Student-athlete time demands and finding the appropriate balance for all the priorities in a calendar year have never been more challenging for student-athletes and staff.  Dr. Scullin's presentation will explore the vital topics of sleep health and circadian wellness, shedding light on their impact on physical health, brain function, and mental well-being. Immediate solutions and long-term considerations for improving sleep and circadian wellness will be discussed. Regardless of your role in our Athletics department, we feel you will leave with new insights surrounding sleep health.  We invite you to actively participate by bringing your questions for an engaging Q&A.

We are pleased to offer a boxed lunch for all confirmed attendees. Please RSVP to ERIC RASH (eric_rash at baylor.edu<mailto:eric_rash at baylor.edu>)  by Friday, November 17th, to reserve your lunch.
