Hello all, our family used the China pattern Booth's Floradora and it occasionally pops up on UK drama and I hit pause. A good source for identifying patterns is replacements(dot)com based in the USA. When I watch a series like AFAW a second or more time I
find I really notice details like that, and try to identify filming locations and if possible use Google Street view to see what's there now. Another good source for WWII history, related to an earlier comment is 'Bases of Bomber Command Then and Now' by Roger
A. Freeman.

I am 39 years old and I grew up with a mother who went on and on about how
good AFAW was. So during lock down I decided that it was the best time for
me to join the Ashton family and re live the war years with them through my
isolation! Well, what a series. One of the most enjoyable, well written and
superbly acted things I've seen in a long time. I'm now re watching from the
start! I have also just purchased some Iris's couloir Utility ware cups and
saucers just like the ones they use! Totally in love with the series!
Very pleased to join this group.
Regards
