Sam and Donald Trump:<div><br></div><div>Both narcissistic; both determined that “his” way is the only justifiable one because it’s “his” way; both completely adverse to adult responsibilities; both devoted to “stay single and survive” (in spite of the fact they’re both married); both child-men who are angry.</div><div><br></div><div>When children lack core love and a sense of others in the world, they grow up to be Sam and Donald Trump. Trump wreaks havoc on the world stage; Sam does it domestically.</div><div><br></div><div>In some sense, Sam is like watching Alfie having “settled” into domestic life. More’s the pity.</div><div><br></div><div>The lesson: if you have children—hold them close and love them.</div><div><br></div><div>Not everyone is fortunate that way, as Mr. Finch well knows.</div><div><br></div>
