and it was a copy John had sent to 'his mate Stan Barstow'!! I was quite shocked!</p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;">He went on to say regarding the reason why it was sold was that it must have been disposed of by Stan's wife after Stan had died. </p>

<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;">I was very pleased, being a huge fan of Stan's books (in particular A Kind of Loving, The Watchers on the Shore, and The Right True End.</p>
