Indeed!<div>The Acorn Media set is 22; the Just Entertainment set is 16; and this third set is 14.</div><div><br></div><div>Oddly, the Acorn set has the “least” content. I can’t imagine the 14-disc set is different from the 16-disc version.</div><div><br></div><div>Acorn does have an American distributor, with discs playable in our Region 1. <div>I haven’t been able to uncover these sets. The running time differences are
largely due to extraneous matter like Granada Colour Production cards at the
beginning and end; the occurrence (but not consistently) of bumper cards in
Series 3 (Part 1, Part 2 etc), and maybe 15–20 minutes of editing snippets,
probably to accommodate X number of episodes on the single-layer Acorn DVDs
(thank you, Mr. Renforth). There were only 3 series of AFAW; the juggling of
distributors into 4 series was for extra DVD $$$.<br clear="none"><br clear="none"><br clear="none"><br clear="none">

are only two DVD sets of AFAW, one on Acorn Media (no subtitles) and the other
on Just Entertainment (removable Dutch subtitles). The Acorn set is available
for Region 1 (USA) and Region 2 (which includes all Europe). The JE set is
just for Europe. There is also a Region 4 (Australia/New Zealand) set, which
appears to be the same as the Acorn set, as it has the same number of DVDs:

corner.
