Curiously, as I’ve been going through the British and Netherlands DVD sets of AFAW, I’ve discovered that, beginning with Episode 27, the bumpers that Brian Renforth always referred to began to be included. Episode 27 only had the opening one (Part Two, Part Three); Episode 28 has both the closing (End of...) and the opening (Part Two, Part Three) ones. An episode, such as 28, with no scenes deleted, can run 1.5 minutes longer with the bumpers included. This is part of the reason for the timing differences between the Acorn and Just Entertainment sets. I’m up to Episode 29 (of 52), so I’ll see what else occurs. Brian’s input has been very helpful!<div><br></div><div>Hope some of us can share thoughts about Spoils of War before too long!</div><div><br></div><div>Scott<br><br><br></div>
