Dependent as I am on DVDs for older programs (I’m in USA), I have a deep collection, but my American ears usually benefit from subtitles—those regional accents, however toned down, still present a challenge. Network DVDs are part of my collection (BBC, ITV, etc). I actually do have a point here: Do Network DVDs have subtitles? I’m looking to purchase One Summer from 1983, set in Liverpool. Heaven help me if I can’t make out what the characters are saying! Thank you!
