As I re-watch these episodes back to back for my occasional comparisons, I am repeatedly impressed by the sheer quality of the writing, acting, and editing. For whatever production flaws obtrude (camera shadows, boom shadows), A Family at War is THE finest British serial! Sometimes you just have to face brute facts! Mr. Finch, your place in television is secure!<br><br><br>
