Edwin listens to the radio now and again in some of the home scenes; clearly, the speeches are sourced from historical broadcasts (scratchy sound discs); occasionally, a comedy routine or singer is heard. Any place where I might find out who is performing what? The speeches are usually obvious (Churchill!) (and Richard Veit’s episode guides certainly help!), but pop culture tends to stay in its own backyard. I got to know a little of this wonderful British music-hall stuff from shows like My Word, whose members were performers themselves. <br><br>
