Watching When the Boat Comes In gives me the same reaction to Jack Ford, a cross somewhere between Superman and J.R. Ewing (Dallas). What a tough sociopolitical drama with an (I think) anti-hero at its, erm, centre. Mistakes do occur if there's another actor of the same name. <br>

I was reminded of Sandra Bryant who appeared in the early episodes of the Thames TV "Special Branch" (the 1969 series 1 is superb incidentally, yet the second series in 1970 was hugely disappointing).<br>

She was confused by a singer of the same name so much the actor Sandra Bryant's image was shown on the You Tube uploads of the singer's two fine Major Minor singles.<br>
<br>
This forced the singer Sandra Bryant herself to contribute feedback to say she wasn't the same person as the actor of the same name!<br>
