<div class="PlainText">My book of poetry "BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE WAR" has been accepted
<br>
by THE NATIONAL POETRY LIBRARY at THE SOUTH BANK CENTRE in London. Their <br>
acceptions have had to be limited as they receive more than 3,000 items <br>
a year, and the acquisitions panel must be snowed under. It can be seen <br>
at the library, or purchased from any bookseller I gather, including <br>
Amazon. Will probably let my autobiog go to the printers this year as <br>
I'm almost happy with it now. My novel A SHAFT OF LIGHT has early <br>
scenes set in a poison gas decontamination centre (pure coincidence) <br>
where I was a messenger boy when I left school at the age of 14 in 1939. <br>
Am currently working on a 10 hour television series set in SAM country, <br>
but not contracted, which given the current trends in TV will probably <br>
never reach the small screen. Very much enjoy reading all your comments <br>
re FAMILY , SAM etc. and your appreciation of the actors I have been <br>
lucky to work with. What a magnificent job Richard has done. Regards <br>
