Nunnerly’s acting is exemplary throughout the series (she, McKelvey, and Mason are especially impressive). <div><br><div>I too am sensitive to boom shadows; amazing how often one can catch them (and outright boom heads dropping in overhead).</div><div><br></div><div>I wonder if Margery Mason ever did Beckett. The picture quality was first class too, looking as if it was recorded yesterday, not 47 years ago. The 2" Quad format was capable of brilliant quality pictures.<br>

Lesley Nunnerly especially gave a stunning performance. Nice to see Gwyn back too though sometimes I think he should keep Celia company for his lack of tact. I'm sure they'd get on very well!<br>

The live like quality revealed a couple of sightings of the microphone boom during the bedroom scenes. Not uncommon when viewing vintage programmes on a modern flat screen set (adjusted to the correct 4:3 aspect ratio) as when the programme was made sets had
more curvy screens so such sightings wouldn't have been possible. <br>
<br>
In all, another great episode.<br>
