Patrick Troughton later appeared as Disraeli in the excellent series about Lady Churchill starring Lee Remick. I have the Acorn DVD; will check out the Case of the Missing Troughton! Will report back, Chief!

On Saturday, February 24, 2018, 4:06 PM, Brian Renforth via Afamilyatwar-list <afamilyatwar-list@baylor.edu> wrote:

Hi there,
I've always been interested in this series though I would have been tucked up in bed at the time of its original transmission. I remember seeing some episodes on Channel 4 in the late '80s.
I was alerted to Talking Pictures TV showing this which I'm very much enjoying.
On another forum there's mention of Patrick Troughton and Margery Mason being credited but not appearing in Episode 3 due to the Acorn DVD release editing their brief appearance out for some reason. They most certainly appeared in a film sequence following
the wedding of John and Margaret as seen on the Talking Pictures TV broadcast. See photo taken off screen.

Patrick Troughton and Colin Douglas appeared together in the, "Dr Who" story, "The Enemy of the World".
