Indeed! I’ve seen To Serve Them and enjoyed it very much. I’ve always been a fan of Frank Middleton since seeing him originally as Kutuzov in War and Peace. I’ve taken up many of the recommendations made by AFAW fans (thanks be to my multiregion DVD player)! Withdrawal is hard, but backup makes it tolerable! He’s sent to the school to teach history as a kind of occupational therapy, as he’s had a bad case of shell-shock in the Great War. He’s quite a radical, especially compared to most of the masters. He gives a great performance, as does Neil Stacy as the science master who runs the OTC.
