I thank all the wonderful AFAW fans who have made these recommendations. I’ve made a list and am checking it twice! Nobody’s been naughty because everyone’s been nice! Between the library and Amazon I have several series to investigate. I even received a response from the son of Colin Douglas! Now THAT’S a fan base! <div>In my opinion, John Finch's A Family at War is the finest television series ever. The writing and acting are superb, unfailingly strong throughout the 52 episodes. The WW2 period is captured with a perceptive honesty, and we care deeply about the characters.</div>
