Thank you for update Barbara Flynn. Glad to hear she attended a talking picture event. Nice for not just is but older people who, like my 92-year-old gran with no internet, gets much pleasure from that channel.

As I mentioned one of my favourites Rowena Cooper still with us, Wanda Vethan is still with us too though I did not like the Jenny character much in the show.

I know Barbara Flynn is still acting she's in Behind Paradise on the BBC and I met her last year at the Talking Pictures Festival in St Albans .Really enjoyed meeting her as she was always my favourite in A Family at war.

Sorry for the errors. I hate how it automatically alters what I write after It sent them. Sorry. I hate errors. To add I think both Freda and Doris actress still with us too. I think Diana Davies played a younger part than herself. I think she is retired but the actress playing Freda is still acting. Would love to have a commentary as an extra on my dvds.

Sadly, I know we have lost almost all our 'family'. I was heartened to hear Lesley is still alive, what about Keith Dinkel?. Do we have any others left. I know Rowena Cooper is still alive which is lovely as if enjoyed Get in Crown Court and The Jewel in the Crown. She was the warden of the education centre who rebuffed David.



Also, the beautiful Rosalind Ayres, as Penny's friend is still with us and I think still acting. She played a small role as May but she was beautiful in that fluffy cardigan. Such great costume, appropriate to both the period and the actors was another great strength of the show, I feel.
