It helps me too. It was one of the last things mum and I watched. She enjoyed it no embarrassing sex or bad language to make sharing it awkward. After she died unexpectedly, I thought I may not be able to watch. But it's been an enormous help to me, shared memories now I watch remember how she enjoyed it.

We both loved Jean. Such a moral woman. I love those black and white episodes before her characters death. Shelagh Was excellent in the part.

I saw her in 'The Recruiting Officer' at Birmingham Rep years ago. It was
sad when she died young.
