Yes, that warm relationship between Margaret (Ashton) Porter and her father-in-law, Harry Porter, was always enjoyable to watch. During their pleasant chats, I think Harry was able to find some welcome relief from Celia, his overbearing wife!

I have watched it several times over. I bought the DVD a few years ago. Despite the deaths, I find it comforting. I loved jean. I was so sorry she departed the show in series 2. Though Get death episode and those preceding it are my favourites. I adored the friendship played so beautifully between Harry Porter and Margaret.
