This is a brilliant collection. I also liked the character of Tony. Trevor Bowen has also written television adaptations; I think he did one of the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett as Holmes. His ‘writing name’ is T.R.Bowen.

Next in line is Trevor Bowen and Wanda Ventham as Tony Briggs and his girlfriend Jenny Graham (episode 17, 25 and 29).

I communicated with Trevor Bowen a couple of times and as you can see in one of his comments, I was still looking for Coral Atkins - and unfortunately Trevor couldn't help me either. In all his letters he was very friendly and signed several items for me.

I'm sure you remember that Tony Briggs met a woman called Jenny Graham played by Wanda Ventham. Wanda was also very forthcoming when I wrote to her and I was allowed to send some photos to her. On one of the photos she wrote some words about Trevor still being a handsome man and I couldn't help including the photo in my next letter to Trevor. You can see his written reaction on the photo.

Not only was there a romance 'on the screen' between Tony and Jenny but Wanda also fell in love - in real life - with one of the other actors from AFAW (Timothy Carlton) - and they got married. Read Wanda's small story below.
