Very interesting, Christine! I would like to see that episode of "Public Eye." Do you think it is available on YouTube?

The "Public Eye" collaboration between these two actors came a full five years after their appearance together in "A Family at War" because "To Die for Spain" was among the first AFAW episodes to be filmed.

I liked the world-weary Norton very much, quite a sympathetic character, and of course "To Die for Spain" was the first of two AFAW appearances by the reprehensible Parker, so well played by John Ronane. Parker would resurface in Episode 29, the black-and-white "Clash by Night."

They appear together again in an episode of Public Eye from 1975. Tenniel Evans plays an avuncular bank manager (this was in the days when you could make an appointment to see your bank manager and be offered a glass of sherry or two) and Keith Drinkel plays a criminal.

Keith Drinkel is practically unrecognisable with a dreadful haircut, wearing a three-piece suit and 1970s tie.
