Hi Grant,   sorry I can't help you with this as individuals involved are 
no longr with us (It's almost half a century ago)  and Granada records 
are unlikely to record the specific locations.  All I can say is that 
from my memory of visiting locations during filming  your description 
sounds right.  It would certainly be in Manchester.
